A. Introduction

Local Utility Services LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information.

B. Information We Collect

a) Personal Information: When provided voluntarily by individuals, we may collect personal information such as names, street addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.

b) Home and Household Information: When you complete a Home Energy Review, we collect the answers you provide, which may include whether you own your home, your utility provider, your approximate monthly electricity bill, your household income range, whether you participate in utility assistance programs such as CARE or Medical Baseline, and your interest in backup power. You are not required to complete a Home Energy Review to use this website.

c) Non-Personal Information: For statistical purposes, we may also collect non-personal information such as browser type, operating system, and IP address.

d) Advertising and Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which set cookies and similar technologies to measure traffic and advertising performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

C. How We Use Your Information

We may use the collected information for purposes, including but not limited to:

• Providing and personalizing our services.
• Processing transactions and delivering products.
• Sending periodic emails related to your orders or inquiries.

D. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share it as described below.

a) Independent Providers and Partners: When you submit a Home Energy Review, you are asking to be connected with providers who may be able to help with the programs or improvements you asked about. To do that, we share the information you submitted — including your name, contact details, address, and Home Energy Review answers — with one or more independent third-party providers in or near your area. Those providers are separate companies. They may contact you directly, and once they receive your information they handle it under their own privacy policies, not this one. Under California law this sharing may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See Section F for how to opt out.

b) Third-Party Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you — for example, our website host, database provider, customer-relationship platform, email and SMS providers, and analytics and advertising platforms.

c) Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required by law or in response to lawful requests by public authorities.

E. How Long We Keep Information

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to provide the services you requested and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. You may ask us to delete it sooner — see Section F.

F. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
• Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including the sharing with independent providers described in Section D(a).
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you services or provide a different level of service because you made a request.

To exercise any of these rights, including to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email support@careplus-ca-enrollment.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request," or write to us at the address below. We will verify your request using the contact information you previously gave us and respond within the time the law allows. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Note that opting out stops future sharing. It cannot recall information already provided to a third-party provider — contact that provider directly to reach their records.
